The Discovery starts at ‘About’
I used to think art was hard. I used to force myself to try n replicate every ‘great’ thing I saw - but you can only get that essence through experience. Living through it. Feeling it. I’ve dealt with a lot these past couple yrs - w the 2 big things being my sobriety off of ketamine and the recent passing of a beloved friend. I went to ‘Take Back The Night’ at my school recently, where I finally received the closure I needed from a relationship where my body and soul was constantly being desecrated. Trust in yourself and I promise you things will move the way you envision. A part of my artistic process I’m learning now is to not just be vulnerable with myself, but with you - n I am so happy I am able to share n continue creating my work. I’m learning that healing and art go hand in hand. Creation isn’t just about skill - its about truth. And as I continue to grow, I want to keep honoring that truth, both in my process and in the pieces I share
